You’ve Been Hugged Pocket Hug, handmade using my home laser engraver. These make great remembrance gifts for loved ones you can’t be with all the time. Think of them as a memorial gift you can give to a loved one that you won’t see for a while. What comes to my mind is a grandparent who gives this special sentiment to a loved grandchild that may live in another state so they don’t get to see each other very often. They are also used as an anxiety aid that can be touched in your pocket to help connect you to the loved one who gave it to you.
Each heart was engraved one by one in my studio. While engraving, I printed and cut the cards using a Cricut and several colors of 65lb card stock.
Finally, I attached the hearts to the cards with a small round double sided sticky pad for easy removal. Each pocket hug has a flat back and if you really wanted to drill a small hole and attach a bail to it, this would easily transform into a heart pendant necklace.
