Custom Alumilite Pen Blanks. Handmade resin pen blanks poured on Aug 17, 2020 with Alumilite Clear Slowcasting resin.
The blanks are at least 5 3/4″ long, 7/8″. Colored using Divine Island Red and White Dye.
These will make absolutely beautiful and unique wood turned pens and can be turned then polished with micromesh, and buffed with a polish. For an even shinier finish, I suggest you apply CA after turning and micromesh that to a glass-like finish. You may want to paint your tubes whatever you like, it’s up to you.
*As always, we encourage you to paint your tubes or drilled area of the blank to ensure you don’t see brass through the turned material, and as always make sure to wear proper eye protection and respirators when working with any materials in your shop.*
